Even with all the advances in modern Dentistry, sometimes one or more teeth cannot be saved. But you do not have to spend the rest of your life sporting a toothless grin!

Whether due to advanced decay, periodontal disease, bone loss or any other combination of reasons, even the finest Dentists may be unable to preserve seriously deteriorated teeth.

Should you find yourself in this particular situation, it’s time to turn to the Dentists at The Smile Center to restore your smile and self-confidence. With custom-crafted Dentures, no one ever needs to feel self-conscious about missing teeth in their smile again.

Dentures have come a long way since the days of Grandpa’s teeth in a cup and now offer a comfortable and natural-looking smile. In the most basic sense, a Denture is defined as a removable appliance used to replace missing teeth. There are two types of Dentures available for patients:

  • Full Dentures: A full denture replaces all the upper teeth and/or all the lower teeth in a jaw and is usually made from synthetic resins. At The Smile Center, all the preparation can be made for a Full Denture for our patients. After final impressions have been taken, a specialized laboratory does the final fabrication and returns to our office for proper fitting of the Full Dentures for our patients.
  • Partial Dentures: When several teeth can be preserved and are healthy enough for support, a Partial Denture can be the solution. A Partial is also a removable appliance used to replace one or more lost teeth and fills the gap between remaining teeth. All treatment phases, from preparation to the final fitting for a Partial Denture can be performed by your Dentist at The Smile Center.

With all these alternatives available, there is no reason why you shouldn’t enjoy all the benefits of a functional and beautiful smile for a lifetime!
