Invisalign can be the secret to a straight smile for both teens and adults. Not only does it align your teeth just as smoothly as traditional braces, but it allows teens and adults to continue on with their lifestyle with little to no interruption due to it being virtually invisible and removable. With a fully digitized and custom plan, Invisalign creates your new smile with the world’s most advanced clear aligner.
Invisalign can be used to treat:
- Crowded teeth
- Gap teeth
- Crooked teeth
Invisalign is made with SmartTrack material for predictable and controlled tooth movements. It is a specifically patented thermoplastic material that contains no BPA, BPS, latex or gluten. Every aligner is trimmed based on the patient’s gum line for better comfort and appearance. Invisalign is constantly reforming their technology. The new aligners are used to treat more kinds of orthodontics cases and have a new weekly aligner changing system.
Results that you can’t hide.
Invisalign’s innovative SmartTrack® material will leave you grinning as it shapes your new smile 50% faster compared to the two-week aligner system.
While traditional orthodontics is still an extremely effective way to straighten teeth and fix complex tooth issues, Invisalign is an attractive alternative to many because they have been dubbed “invisible braces”.
Many people like Invisalign because you can easily remove them to eat and drink. There is no limitation to food and drink choices when going through the orthodontic treatment. Simply take the aligner out, eat and drink, brush teeth and then put the aligner back in. The patient also does not have to worry about certain foods getting stuck in brackets or foods ripping brackets out of the mouth. Invisalign also allows the customer to stay active and remain in all their sports without any disruption or risk of brackets getting hit and coming out.
Don’t let your smile lose it’s sparkle.
Removable aligners make it easy to maintain oral hygiene routines and proper dental care.
Another selling point for patients is the fact the Invisalign does not discolor or stain teeth like traditional brackets possibly can. Cleaning the aligners themselves is simple, too — there are cleaning kits specifically for this job, or they can just be brushed and rinsed with warm water instead.
A personalized experience as unique as your smile.
With customized treatment plans and 3D smile previews, you’ll know what to expect every step of the way.
Since Invisalign is a digital orthodontics plan, there are actually fewer visits to the orthodontist. The doctor will digitally scan the teeth without having to perform a traditional impression. From there, the doctor uploads the scans into the software that demonstrates the entire treatment plan on the computer. Once the patient approves, the doctor submits the treatment to Invisalign, where the case of aligners is made and then delivered back to the doctor. The custom aligners are made using Invisalign state-of-the-art printing process.
The first appointment to get the aligners will consist of the doctor explaining the treatment plan, making sure the set of aligners fit and are trimmed properly around the gums and answering any remaining questions.
The patient will change his or her aligners every week, or as prescribed by the doctor. Generally, the patient schedules their appointments every four to six weeks. Each appointment will consist of the doctor ensuring everything is fitting and performing as expected, and then giving their patient their aligners for the next few weeks.
A treatment option molded to fit with your busy lifestyle.
Virtually invisible aligners that require fewer appointments and no broken brackets or wires makes perfecting your smile a seamless process.
The patient must wear the aligners 20-22 hours per day typically for 6-18 months in order for them to be effective. Parents can now track if their child is wearing the aligner based upon blue compliance indicators. The aligners should only be out of the mouth when eating or drinking anything besides water. Many patients also enjoy Invisalign because there are less emergency visits to the doctor. Patients do not have to worry about breaking brackets or wires, or wires or brackets cutting into the gums.
A beautiful smile you can afford.
Insurance, tax-free dollars and payment plan options give you and your wallet something to smile about.
Like traditional braces, Invisalign is also covered under most dental insurances. Those that have Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or a Health Savings Account (HSA) can pay tax-free at the time of the deposit. Typically, the insurance company will pay a certain amount and then the patient is responsible for the rest. Sometimes it is important to talk to the benefits manager at one’s work to see if orthodontic treatment is covered through health or dental insurance. During the time of the consultation appointment, ask the office what the insurance covers, they will happily contact the insurance company for you. Dental offices also can create monthly payment plans.
